How Long must I commit to a travel assignment?On average each assignment is for 13 weeks, however some assignments may be longer or shorter depending on your requirements as well as our client facilities. We offer you the flexibility in the contract process to ensure your needs are met. Each contract you will need to sign an Agreement to provide services, within that agreement all the terms will be spelled out for that particular contract Back to TopHow Many hours per week will I work on Assignment?The terms of your contract will list your hours. Must facilities you will work three twelve-hour shifts. The hours are guaranteed in the contract. If the facility cancels your shift they will still pay for the hours. Back to TopHow do I get started ?First, fill out an application on-line or request one to be mailed to you. Then a recruiter will contact you to discuss your preferences, your available date to start, licensing considerations, benefits you will receive and answer any other questions you may have. Back to TopHow soon can I expect to be placed?As soon as we receive your information we will start the process of finding you a contract in the area of your preference. This process generally can take up to 14 days. Back to TopWhere are contracts available currently?The available contracts change on a minute-by-minute basis. Your application needs to be completed and on file at As Needed Staffing so we can submit you for possible assignments. Back to TopHow am I interviewed?One of our recruiters will contact you via phone or email to discuss assignment options. We will then submit your profile to our client facilities and arrange a phone interview between you and the facility. This is a good time for you to interview the facility as well. We encourage you to write down a list of questions to ask the facility. Our number one priority is to make sure each assignment is a good match for both the traveler and the facility. Back to TopWhat about Licensing?Licensing is different for each state. Most states offer a temporary license that is valid up to one year. Your recruiter will assist you in this process. We will reimburse your licensing fees after you have completed your assignment Back to TopHow do I get to the travel assignment?Most of our travelers drive to their assignment. You will be paid at the beginning and the end of the assignment for your travel expenses that will be included within your Service Agreement. Back to TopWhat about housing?Depending on the assignment, private housing will be given to you at not cost. Some facilities have housing for you to utilize during your assignment. For the facilities that do not provide you with housing, your recruiter will have housing secured for you before you arrive to you assignment. Back to TopHow often will I get paid and who pays me?You are considered an employee of As Needed Staffing. You will receive your paycheck either by mail or by direct deposit into your bank account. The pay period is from Sunday through Saturday. With paydays being on the following Friday. Back to Top
